Who Would You Invite to a Random Control Group?

Perhaps a random control group could be constructed using the cycle onset dates of women participating in the Tremin Research Program on Women's Health, "initiated in 1934...to document the normal menstrual cycle," and presently involving 1,210 "active record keepers."

Or, perhaps a random control group could be constructed out of women who work in isolation, such as field workers in the biological sciences, or women who have no female coworkers and no female cohabitants.

Are their other groups of women you can think of to serve as a random control group in menstrual synchrony studies?
